Wow!!

Below are photos of the building which houses my friends flat they purchased earlier this year in Paisley, Scotland. This duplex apartment forms part of one of Paisley's major landmarks which is the John Neilson Institute built in 1890 for the sole purpose of being a school. The school itself was designed by Charles Wilson, a leading professional of his time. The property was re-designed for residential use and remains one of Paisley's most stunning buildings. It is proof that if you seek you will find!

Home Comforts

On display at the Zeitgeist shop this weekend will be this pretty row of vintage fabric cushions. Come and visit them!

Taxi!

On the streets off London I discovered this very innovative use of a vintage black taxi....as a cafe serving people as they walked around Brick Lane.

Vintage Greetings.

It was my birthday and I received these pretty petite vintage horses.....thank you Ben.

Crazy Creed

Showing at the Hayward Gallery on the Southbank, London is the first major retrospective of the Turner prize winning artist Martin Creed named "What's The Point Of It?" Visiting this exhibition is an experience which will definitely provoke a reaction as there are many visual treats to make you smile and scream all at the same time! One such installation is the room filled with white balloons.

Now you see me

and now you don't.
Go and see the balloons, the large neon Mothers installation and the crumpled paper to name a few of his works and yes! there is a point to it.

Old Friends

I parked my car today alongside a stunning trio of classic cars - a Jaguar, a Lotus and a Rover all parked in a London street.
