It is in Cornwall. And it is hard to find the right clothes for a beach life so I revamped my black vintage jumpsuit into a playsuit by chopping of the legs. Then my daughter took this photo and chopped off my head....not literally of course!

The Tunnel Club
It seems I have a fascination for taking photographs with elements of tunnels within them! Here are some below....
Feel The Breeze
Summer is here and the city of London just turned into an oven! Time to escape to Cornwall to feel the breeze and swim in the ice cold sea. There will be sun of course as I have vintage Pierre Cardin sunglasses to wear.
Pierre Cardin vintage sunglasses belong to Ben....not me!

Glasgow's Miles Better
I was in Glasgow over the last few days, the city where I was brought up and like everything in my life it has a vintage element to it as the reason for my visit was to look after my vintage mum!
Glasgow has changed from when I grew up and I came across the images from the hugely successful 'Glasgow's Miles Better' Campaign launched in 1983 and was one of the best promotions ever mounted by a British city. The campaign aimed at correcting the outdated ideas that many people in Scotland, the UK and abroad had of the city. The low budget campaign featured Roger Hargreaves' smiley 'Mr Happy' character telling visitors that Glasgow's Miles Better.
I saw this Rolls Royce shown below parked in a driveway near my childhood home. A very different image from the 1980's now that most people have become homeowners and take pride in their homes, gardens and cars. Miles better!

Vintage Vacation
I travelled to the very weird but equally wonderful Iceland to explore one of the most unsettling places I have ever been. It is a place that involves all the senses and therefore it is hard to put into words all the textures, sounds, smells and tastes I experienced on this vintage island where the inhabitants spend most of the year in non-stop daylight and then the other half in mostly darkness where daylight never quite appears. It is a remarkable place and I feel so honoured to have had this amazing opportunity..... hello Ben and thank you
